Why is Java so slow to load on my home computer? Any advice?

Cant hurt to update yourself to the most curent version of JAVA. Go to http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.j鈥?/a> and download. Sometimes its easier to update rather than chase a needle....Why is Java so slow to load on my home computer? Any advice?
Or just wait. Few hours or even a day. Computers seem to be like people. They are moody and work different at different times.Why is Java so slow to load on my home computer? Any advice?
