I just purchased two laptops for my home to replace an aging desktop. The CPU is on its last leg, so that will be thrown out.
1) I have a great , brand new LCD HD 22'; widescreen Dell monitor- what do I do with it now? try to sell it or keep it to use with laptops occasionally??
2) these laptops come with internal wireless next gen ';N'; cards- what router should we get to get connected to the internet? We have a cable modem.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!Computer advice needed asap please!!!?
I would list it on craigs list. You dont have to worry about seller fee's like Ebay.
As far as the router I would use RangeMax Wireless-N Router. Its a good one and very reliable.Computer advice needed asap please!!!?
(1) Do you need it or have a use for it? Keep it! Hook it up and use it with the laptops. Enjoy. Else, consider depreciated value and if you don't think it's worth it to sell, then donate to your favorite local charity and feel really good. We did.
(2) Check with your ISP to see if you're allowed to use any ol' router you want. Some don't support any ol' router! If they do: Friend of mine who works for Cisco (parent of Linksys) said, any famous name brand will work well. Choose the least expensive (e.g., Linksys, Belkin, Dlink, etc.). Then Go to http://www.google.com/prdhp?hl=en%26amp;tab=wf and find the best price.
should work as a spare tv
