I wanted to build my own computer from scrap ... hopefully people can help me advice wads the thing i should buy , how to judge whether the hardware is good or not or something like that .. im using this computer for multimedia and gaming purposes mostly on multimedia purposes ... hopefully all of u can help me ... im really blind in this kind of stuffs .

My advise, don't buy a single thing until you know what you are doing because you WILL break something or mess up the configuration. Learn first, then build.

minimum dual core (INTEL or AMD, your choice)


2GB RAM at least


ATI 3870 or nVidia 8800GT for the video card
