I need computer advice.?

I'm considering buying a laptop for the first time ever and am wondering what kind to get and where to buy it for the best deal. Anyone have a qualified opinion on the subject? I'm a writer and will be using it for that as well as e-mailing and surfing the internet.I need computer advice.?

i think d best brands are Apple, hp and sony and del... but d topmost in quality and long duration are hp and apple, as i havent used apple .I cant give u much idea, but hps are really classy and best in my view!

You REALLY need to state your budget, where do you live?(Some UK companies don't deliver to USA and visa versa) What do you want out of it? (Are you seriously just guna do a few office apps?
