Need Some Computer Advice.

I am in the market for a new computer, I cannot decide between a laptop or a desktop I am going to college in two years. I have a mac now and love it so I wanted to get the new Imac but then I thought I should get a macbook instead so it would be better for school. I also think the HP touchsmart looks really cool but I dont know if it would be practical. Any suggestions I missed?Need Some Computer Advice.
Ask yourself the following.....

Is price an issue?

Do I want to game a lot on it?

Do I really need a touch screen pc?

Should I stick with apple?

Should I change and go with Vista?

It is all up to you. I suggest a laptop because it is portable and more convenient for a student. Yet, a desktop maybe useful for backing up data onto, and are more powerful.Need Some Computer Advice.
If you are not used to using a PC stick to the Mac, that way you don't have the learning curve of a new OS, if you are doing it for price then most PC's are priced lower, but you may still need to buy extra programs, expect to spend at least $200 over the original price when buying the PC(antivirus, antispyware, ect. all cost money)

Hope this helps.

I would go for the Mac laptop if I had the $$, PC if I wanted to save $$(just personal opinion)
Get a laptop if you are going to college. It will be a lot easier to access being in classes. And try to get a tablet PC. The proffessors like them better as they are quieter.
