I am thinking of getting a new computer, any advice on the best ones & why?

My current computer has a TON of viruses/spyware that even the professionals cannot get rid of and it's getting slow, it's about 4 years old. Any suggestions on what to purchase next? My needs a pretty low, just use it for surfing the internet, Ebay, and college course work. Tell me what you think! based on ur needs, this is the configuration of desktop that i can suggest u


amd 3800(i'm not recomending u dualcore processors, cuz i dont think u gonna need it), atleast 1gb of ram(if u wanna make it a lil futureproof, or else 512 should be fine), wit atleast 80 gb of sata. try to get a pc wit this config nd should work for u. ps if u wanna get rid of malwares, try housecall.trendmicro.com its a free online scanner and is pretty effective. lolI am thinking of getting a new computer, any advice on the best ones %26amp; why?
