Depending on what type of gaming you're doing, you'll need higher-end parts. But what you should be looking for, primarily, is:

A good processor (dual or quad core, at least 2.4 GHz each)

RAM (2+ GB)

Hard disk space (250GB or more depending on how many games you have. You need a lot of free space on the drive in order for it to continue running smoothly, though, so more space is good.)

Video/graphics card (VERY important - and very expencive. I'd suggest a new NVIDIA or ATI card with no less than 256 MB VRAM, and the more you get, the better off you'll be.)

A good monitor is always a plus -- but only if your PC hardware can handle good resolutions. A backup surge protector/bnattery combo helps so that your PC dosen't shut down if the power goes out.
ur processor need Core2 Duo/Quad with a least 2.6Ghz+ and 1066Mhz FSB+

RAM: 1~4GB

Graphic Card: Geforce 8800Ultra is the best

oso need liquid or Nitrogen cooler
you need a good graphics card, alot of RAM, + a good monitor, other than that just ask your geek squad or firedog employee : )
