first off, you need to hire a business consultant or lawyer to manage your affairs if you dont have the head for business/law, but are good at performing the actual job function.

even though you didnt have a written contract, you may have had an oral agreement. and what was it? was he an employee or a partner in your business? is your business even organized and recognized by the state that you operate in?

at any rate, without a written agreement, you should argue that the guy was an employee who has been terminated. inform your customers that they do not have to give him any information. you can also seek an injunction prohibiting him from interfering in your business affairs. you could also sue him for intentional interference in a business relationship.

before you do all that, i would consult with a lawyer to hammer out a letter which outlines the stance that you are taking in regard to your business position as it concerns him.

also, you could have a sit down to work it out-threatening litigation as a last resort?I need a corporation lawyer advice on how to Deal with a situation about a person going into our computer?
If you do not know a corporation lawyer, you can contact the law society and ask them to give you 2 or 3 names !
