My question is, which one should I buy? I'm looking for something in the $500-$600 price range. It doesn't need to be fancy because I'm really only going to be using it to write.
The only problem is, I don't like the mouse or keyboard that comes with the notebooks so can I buy my own keyboard/mouse and attach it to the notebook instead? Or is there something better I should buy?
Looking for any and all options. Thank you in advance!!Need some computer advice...please read below?
You'll probably what to get a Dell. They are usually the cheapest and they run well to. As for the mouse, you can find all styles that will plug into the USB port.Need some computer advice...please read below?
You may the the Apple iBook which costs only $229 or a Toshiba Satellite A105-S2081 which costs $569.If you want a bit costly then try Acer Aspire 3002LCi which is 599.but the cheapest one is Apple iBook CD which is $199.And you can buy a portable keyboard and a mouse which can be easily be kept in your laptop bag
I have not seen a laptop yet that cannot accept a keyboard and/or mouse. This is especially true now, because you can get USB versions, even if it doesn't have a PS2 jack.
Ok well, you could get a refurbished iBook for about $600 -$700 and yes you can just get a keyboard that you like and hook it up. Thats what I would do in your situation.
I would recomend buying either a dell or hp, hps are known for better support but are about 100 more, check newegg.com tigerdirect.com, also, if may also look into things like an ASUS notebook, its made by a motherbord ppl.
A good place to look for laptops in your price range is tigerdirect.com or newegg.com. They offer most brands.
