I need some computer advice?

my comp crashed and I couldnt retrieve anything, so I brought another one. Is there a program in which I could use on my new comp that could read my old one and convert files or programs to my new one? I have several expensive programs that I dont have the original disk for...just wanted to know I could somehow retrieve any of it. Also test if any of the internal parts could be used as well.I need some computer advice?
Install your old hard drive as a slave drive or buy an external enclosure to use the programs and access the files installed on the drive.I need some computer advice?
It is difficult to say without knowing why your old computer crashed. If it was a power supply. You could probably put the old hard drive in an external housing and, explore it using your new computer. If it was a hard drive failure. You would probably need some to do professional data recovery. Even if your old hard drive is readable. Your new computer may not run the programs. If it is readable you could probably do a repair of Windows once it is connected to the new computer and, start your computer from the old drive. You may still run into some problems with missing drivers. Especially audio and, video drivers.
I think you should first look into repairing the operating system. If the HD broke it won't work.

you can remove the hard drive and put it in an external carriage and attach it to your new computer and possibly copy files and folders. But if you don't have the installation files for your programs saved on the drive there is little way to actually transfer the operating program.
Well that should be very easy actually, I guess your cant turn your computer on so the best thing is to get a technician to take the hard drive out and retrieve all the information. I dont know of any programs that can do that kind of job for you but am sure a technician will be able to do it.

Look if told you that you can turn $40 into a very lucrative business would you be interested?? If your answer is YES email me at cmesias15@yahoo.com

Hope my answer is useful...Have a Great Day!!
The slave drive is a good idea; make sure the jumper settings are correct for the slave and the master drive. You will have to look at each drive separately and verify the master/slave settings on each.
If old computer's old drive will fit and is supported by your new computer just install it as second drive.
