Please could someone give me some computer advice please got myself in a right mess ?

I had a virus on my computer and only way out was to use system restore . I had Norton on it and as I was going to change it removed programme as restore wouldn't work with it on . After restore Norton back on have tried to remove again as Kapersky wont load with norton but when i try to remove it says the specified module could not be found ?What does this mean and what do I have to do . Cant actually get Norton to open either but windows tells me I am protected by norton . Hope someone can help a dumb damsell in distress thanks Please could someone give me some computer advice please got myself in a right mess ?
Norton is a really crap anti-virus and it dosn't uninstall properly.





You need to download and run the Norton removal tool from symantec - http://service1.symantec.com/Support/tsg鈥?/a>





After you run this file Kaspersky should install perfectly.

Calm down really its not you its norton. Its plagued with problems regarding software. Your best bet is to uninstall and use something free. Norton has really hit the rocks and its not good.





Go to my page here and click program reviews. There is a link down at the bottom for the norton uninstall. YOU MUST use this otherwise it wont ever leave you system

Then go to the page lalabeled CCLeaner. Download that and then do the scan and the registry repair AFTER you have uninstalled norton. This will get rid of anything else. Also i would advise running CCleaner once a month to keep your system clean.





Then looking at program reviews again use the download links to download a program you think you will benefit from and keep safe. However i think you have made the right choice going with kaspersky.
