Need some geek advice, computer problems.?

I accidentally downloaded some things that I thought were othe things, so now I've got a totally screwed up hard drive infected with all kinds of weird viruses. Is there anyway I can almost reset the hard drive? As in, use the backup drive and remove the old one? Help!!Need some geek advice, computer problems.?
maybe if you don't call out other people ';geeks'; right out, someone will answer you. first and foremost, just admit that you were downloading massive p0rn or pirated software over torrent w/o any AV when you got your bloat load of virus, then ask nicely, and a nice person might help you out!Need some geek advice, computer problems.?
^ LOL

I take geek as a compliment. =]

Download Spybot Search %26amp; Destroy. Its a free anti-spyware program. Install it, do the update and scan your whole computer, I bet is going to find all sorts of things. That should help ya.

Heres the download link,
