Who can i call for free computer help or advice?

Ive been using Mozilla Firefox but it stopped playing the sound (for videos and stuff) so i switched to Opera but it did the same thing. is there some company or something that I can call and get free help (like the geek squad or something)??Who can i call for free computer help or advice?

Seriously, they can help with ANYTHING. I went here a while back and liked it so much I email then all the time now with help. I don't comment, I just use the contact form and email then. Try it. They know everything I've thrown at them...lol.Who can i call for free computer help or advice?

Do you have red circle with line showing over your speaker icon on your task bar? Click on the icon and remove the mute by unchecking the mute box.





No red circle, press winkey and R key. In run command box type in ';devmgmt.msc';. Any yellow flags? Yes re-install your sound drivers. If no yellow flags then check on plus sign near sound and re-install your drivers with a update. Check with maker of computer or sound.





Still no sound, speakers are blown or not plug in or not turn on.





Still not working, then sound circuit on motherboard is out. Replace the motherboard or add sound card.
Most of those companies charge $125 per hour to resolve your issues. I would suggest asking the questions here or asking a friend that knows about computers.
