I am totally new to computer programming but I want to learn it. I am taking a class at my school which is for beginners and I was wondering if there is a website or something like that, that can help me learn more about the subject because it is something I am interested in. The class is going at a fairly slow pace and I was hoping I could get a bit of a head start on it, just so I know what the teacher is talking about and know a bit more about the subject. Anyone have any ideas or sources I could use?Advice for beginner computer programmer?

The best way would be to search for documentation ( plenty online ) related to the language you're working in at school ( for example C/C++, Java etc. ), and some algorithms documentation ( plenty to go around as well ) and you should be fine since there are only 3 things that you need when programming: the language, algoorithms and some creativity/inspiration :).
The source varies depending on the programming language you are learning.
