Any advice for my new computer?

I'll be getting one in the next few months. I want a good deal on a PC. Any advice and/or experiences you wanna share would be super.Any advice for my new computer?
Depends completely on what you're willing to spend and what you're going to be using the computer for.

You could go for the OEM dealies like Dell or HP and get a ';decent'; system for less but then you're stuck with an OEM system and I don't like those. I prefer to make my own, just personal preference.

You can go to various computer part websites/shops and buy the parts for the computer slowly and end up spending more than yo would for the OEM but you'd get a superior system in most cases

Pentium CPUs are good for most things but when it comes to gaming, you want to look into getting a AMD.

More ram = more power. You'd notice a difference with more RAM than you would with a higher CPU. RAM lets you do more at once.

Graphics card. Big debate here on what is best for what. Geforce seems to be pulling ahead right now for the best of the best graphics.

Sound card. Aren't that expensive. Audiogy is usually good enoughAny advice for my new computer?
Compaq presarios are good Ive got a 3.5 with 160g hard disk. 128 Graphics Cost 拢1200 along with printer/scanner , digital camera, security suite and various other bits. Haven't had a problem yet apart from the odd minor virus. Bought two years ago from PC world. Of course if you know what you are doing you can build one from scratch for a fraction of the price
Recommend to get a high graphic pc which can have raiden as a card.
Wow......man.....u really took my advice!!!! Ur getting a PC to get an education? That's cool but u know what dude.....there's a problem......!! {Yea yea i know that for a pea-brain like you, EVERYTHING poses a problem}.....The thing is, with your I.Q of 30 {poor you!}, all the cool stuff is way advanced for you! And hey......you seem to have endless silly questions to ask ....doesn't that tell you something? Anyway, good luck on that PC search....Peace!
Define what you are going to use it for, then build it.

If your a gamer, your needs are different from a student.
